This page explains how the data you submit on mebeluizvesanariga.lv is processed. Requests are submitted through the form and we reply by phone, so the amount of data is exactly what is needed to prepare a price quote and give it to you.
What data we receive
When you fill in the form, you can provide:
- photographs of the furniture;
- your name;
- your phone number;
- the address the furniture has to be collected from;
- the floor the items are on;
- whether the building has a lift;
- the type and approximate volume of the items to be removed;
- an indication of whether you want dismantling (optional);
- your preferred time;
- any additional notes you choose to write.
We don't ask for any other data. The form doesn't require a personal identity number or payment details. We ask for the address only because it is the place the furniture has to be collected from.
Why this data is needed
Every field serves one purpose — to calculate the price and understand the scale of the job. The floor and the lift determine how heavy the carry-out will be. The type, the volume and the dismantling note show how much has to go and whether an item has to be taken apart. The address determines where the job is, and the phone number is needed in order to tell you the price. The preferred time helps us plan the trip. The basis for processing is your request for a quote, that is, steps taken prior to entering into a possible contract.
Photographs
Photographs are the most important part of the quote, because they show us the size and condition of an item and whether it will fit through the door or in the lift. Please photograph only the items to be removed. If something else happens to appear in a photo, we don't use it for any other purpose.
Our reply by phone
We give the price quote by calling the phone number you provide. We use the number only to discuss that particular request. We don't send marketing texts, we don't call with offers, and we don't pass the number on to third parties for marketing purposes.
Where the data goes and how long it is kept
The submitted form is sent to an automated processing channel (a webhook), from which the request reaches us. We keep the data for as long as is necessary to prepare the quote and to communicate about the order, and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case the work has been done and questions might arise. Once the data is no longer needed, it is deleted.
Cookies and Google Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which sections are read. This statistical data is aggregated and is not intended to identify any particular person. For more on which cookies are used and how to turn them off, see the Cookies page.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:
- access your data and find out what is held about you;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase data when it is no longer needed;
- restrict processing;
- object to processing;
- receive your data in a portable format.
How to exercise these rights
Submit your request using the form on the Contact page. In the notes field, say what you want — for example, to delete a request you submitted earlier — and give the phone number the request was submitted with, so that we can find it. If you believe your data has been processed incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate.
