Most questions are about three things: whether the furniture really will be carried out of the flat, what it will cost, and how to book. The answers below are in that order.

About the service

Do you carry the furniture out of the flat?

Yes — that is the core of the service. We come to you, carry the furniture out of the flat, load it and haul it away. You don't have to bring anything downstairs.

Do you collect from an upper floor if the building has no lift?

Yes, we collect from upper floors with no lift too. That is exactly why the request form asks for the floor and whether the building has a lift — those two facts determine how much work is involved, and therefore the price. If there is a lift but the item won't fit in it (which often happens with mattresses and double beds), mention that in the comments.

Will you remove just one item?

Yes. There's no need to wait until several have piled up. The only condition is the minimum order of €30 excluding VAT.

Does furniture removal include dismantling?

We dismantle when an item won't otherwise go through the door. Wardrobes, corner sofas and double beds almost always have to be taken apart. Dismantling starts at €15 excluding VAT and is only charged when it is genuinely needed. For how the day itself goes, read how furniture removal works.

What happens if an item won't fit through the door?

Then we dismantle it — that's not an exception, it's an ordinary part of the job. Plenty of furniture was assembled in the room and has never been through the door in one piece. On a wardrobe we take the doors off and unscrew the carcass, on a sofa we take off the legs and separate the corner section, on a bed we take the frame apart.

Do you remove furniture from a basement or an attic?

Yes. Show us the access in the photos as well — the stairs and the width of the doorway. If the item is behind other belongings, clear a path to it beforehand.

Do you remove furniture from a house?

Yes. A house usually has easier vehicle access, though there can be narrow internal stairs or an item on the first floor. Mention that in your request.

How many people turn up?

It depends on the job — we plan the crew from the photos. A heavy wardrobe on an upper floor with no lift needs a different plan from a chair on the ground floor.

Do I have to empty the wardrobe and the drawers?

Yes, the furniture needs to be empty — the contents of drawers spill out during dismantling. Check the top of the wardrobe and the storage compartment under the sofa too.

Can you remove only some of the furniture?

Yes. List the items to be removed in your request and show exactly those in the photos, so there's no misunderstanding on site.

What happens to the furniture after removal?

We take it to the landfill and hand it over for disposal. The furniture doesn't come back to you and you don't have to think about where it goes next.

What don't you take?

We don't take construction waste, hazardous waste or tyres — those need a different provider. Everything else is covered under services.

About the price

How much does furniture removal cost?

Removing a single item starts at €30, a mattress at €25, a whole apartment at €90. All prices exclude VAT. The full list by furniture type is in the price list.

Can the price change on the day?

No. If the situation matches the photos you sent and the floor and lift you gave us, the price stays as we quoted it. It changes only if something else turns up on site — two more items to remove that weren't in the photos, for example.

Why do we set the price from photos?

A description alone doesn't show how big an item is or whether it will fit through the door. A photo shows that straight away, which is why we can name a specific figure rather than a range.

Why are the prices given as "from"?

Because the same piece of furniture can mean very different amounts of work. A wardrobe can be a light two-door unit or a fitted one running the length of a wall; a sofa can be on the ground floor or on the fifth with no lift. "From" is the lower bound — the specific figure comes from the photos.

Is dismantling charged separately?

Yes. Dismantling starts at €15 excluding VAT and is added to the removal price. We only apply it when an item won't otherwise go through the door. If the furniture is already dismantled when we arrive, the charge isn't needed.

Is it cheaper to have everything removed at once?

Usually yes. The €30 minimum order, excluding VAT, applies to each call-out, so two separate visits cost more than one. If another item is going to be freed up soon, book it all together.

About booking

How do I book?

Fill in the form on this page, attach photos of the furniture and give the address, the floor and whether there's a lift. We'll then call you and name a price. Booking goes through the form so that the photos and the address stay on record rather than being relayed over the phone.

How do I prepare for the day?

Empty the drawers and clear a path to the door. It's described step by step on the page how to prepare for a furniture removal.

How many photos should I attach?

Enough to show each item separately and its size relative to the room. If the doorway or the stairwell is narrow, add a photo of that too — it's what decides whether dismantling is needed.

What if I don't know whether an item needs dismantling?

Nothing — we assess that from the photos and tell you whether dismantling will be needed and what it means for the price.

Can I book on behalf of a company?

Yes. Give the invoicing details in the comments — company name, registration number and registered address.

Do I need to be at home during the removal?

Someone needs to be there to let us in and point out which items are going. That can be a neighbour or a relative who knows what's being removed.
