The work is similar in every case — we arrive, dismantle if needed, carry the item out of the flat, load it and haul it to the landfill. What differs is how much has to be taken apart and how hard it is to get the thing out through the door or down the stairs.

The pages below are organised by what needs removing: individual types of furniture first, then the larger jobs where whole rooms are emptied, and finally appliances and everything else. Each page gives the price and the process for that particular job. If you aren't sure which section your item falls into, that's no obstacle — fill in the form with photos and we'll work it out.

Individual items

• Mattress removal — a mattress is light but unwieldy: it won't fit in a car and often not in the lift either, so it usually goes down the stairs held upright by two people.
• Old mattress removal — we take worn, split or water-damaged mattresses in any condition, and they don't need wrapping or preparing.
• Sofa removal — an ordinary sofa often gets out whole, but a corner sofa that was assembled in the room almost always has to be separated into sections before it can be moved at all.
• Wardrobe removal — most wardrobes don't come out of a flat in one piece. We take off the doors and shelves and dismantle the carcass on the spot.
• Single item removal — one chair, table or cabinet is reason enough for a call-out; there's no need to wait until more piles up.
• Furniture dismantling and removal — when an item is screwed to the wall or was assembled in the room, dismantling is the first job, and only then can it be carried out.

Whole rooms

• Apartment clearance — the entire flat in one go, including what's left in the cupboards, the basement and on the balcony, rather than one item at a time.
• Office furniture removal — desks, chairs and rows of shelving in larger numbers, usually with a deadline and a goods-lift slot set by the building.

Appliances and everything else

• Appliance removal — washing machines, cookers and dishwashers: heavy, compact and awkward to grip, which is why they go down the stairs with two people.
• Fridge removal — tall and heavy, and it can't be tilted freely on the turns of a narrow stairwell, which usually makes it the hardest single item in a flat.
• Bulky item removal — exercise bikes, rugs, suitcases, door leaves and everything else that fits no category but is too big for a bin.

What we don't take: construction and renovation waste, hazardous waste and tyres. We also don't move furniture to a new address — we take it away for disposal. For rough figures see the price list; the specific price follows from your photos.
