Single Item Removal. Single furniture item removal in Riga from €30. We come out for one sofa, bed or wardrobe — dismantling and hauling away included. Excl. VAT. Yes, we come out for a single item too. The minimum order is €30.
One of the most common questions is whether it's even worth booking if there's only one sofa or one wardrobe to go. The answer is yes. There's no need to wait until several pieces of furniture have piled up.
When this comes up
, and the old one is standing in the middle of the room getting in the way — the most common single-item call;
, but there's nowhere for the old mattress to go: it fits neither in the basement nor in a bin;
and is no longer worth repairing;
, taking up space and no longer used by anyone.
Why it isn't worth waiting until more piles up
Many people put off calling, thinking nobody will come out for one item or that it won't be worth it. In practice the opposite happens: the old piece stands in the hallway or the basement for months, takes up space and gradually gets dirty and damp. Waiting for a second thing to remove often means waiting a year.
If you really do have something else to go — a second chair, an old kitchen unit, a mattress — then it is worth putting them into one visit. Removing several things at once is better value per item than doing each separately, because the transport and the visit are shared. But that's an argument for combining, not for waiting.
How the minimum order works
The minimum order is €30, excluding VAT. That means even a very small job — one chair, for example — is charged as a minimum call-out, because the trip, the time and the disposal are the same regardless of the size of the item. If there are several things to remove in one visit, the price is built up per item and the minimum is no longer the deciding factor.
One item is a full service
One piece of furniture doesn't mean a cut-down service. Just as on a larger order, we dismantle the piece on site if needed, carry it out of the flat, load it and take it to the landfill. You don't have to prepare the furniture, find tools or help carry.
That's why the floor and whether the building has a lift matter for a single item too. One sofa from a fifth floor with no lift is a different job from the same sofa on the ground floor, and it affects how many people come. We do carry things down from upper floors with no lift.
Price
Removing a single item starts at €30, a mattress from €25. The minimum order is €30, excluding VAT. If the piece has to be dismantled, dismantling is added from €15.
