Furniture removal for businesses

Removal with an invoice, a price agreed in advance and work planned around your deadline.

Furniture removal for businesses in Riga with an invoice: offices, shops, building managers and landlords. Price agreed in advance, work to your deadline. Removal with an invoice, a price agreed in advance and work planned around your deadline.

For a business, furniture removal is usually not a question about furniture but about a date. A lease ends, an office relocates, a shop changes its layout — and by a particular day the premises have to be empty. Unlike a private customer, a business usually needs two more things: an invoice for the accounts, and a price that can be approved before the work starts.

Invoice and company details

We issue an invoice to the company for the work done, which can be entered into your accounts. Put your details — company name, registration number, legal address and VAT number if you have one — in the notes field of the request form. If the invoice needs a particular contract or purchase order number, or has to go to a separate accounts address, note that in the same place so it doesn't have to be sorted out after the job.

The price is agreed before the work

We set the price from your photos and what you tell us in the request, before anything happens. In a company that matters because the expense usually has to be approved by someone — an office manager has to clear the sum with a director, a building manager has to put it into the property's costs. If the sum is only learned once the work is done, approval happens retrospectively. So the agreed price is fixed, and it doesn't change on the day as long as the volume matches what was described.

Work to a deadline, not "when we get round to it"

In most cases the date is set from outside: handing the premises back to the landlord, moving day, the morning the builders arrive. We plan around that date and work on the basis that after it the premises have to be empty — not partly empty. If the removal has to be split into several visits, because the office is working until the last day for example, we agree that in advance.

Access in commercial buildings

In a commercial building the work is often dictated not by the furniture but by the building's rules. In practice that means:

🛗Goods lift

In many office buildings the goods lift has to be booked for a specific slot, and can't be used at any other time.

🚪Security and passes

Names or vehicle registrations have to be submitted in advance, and you sign in at the entrance.

🕐Time windows

Driving into the courtyard or up to the entrance may only be allowed during certain hours.

🕐Work outside business hours

In shopping centres and busy offices removals are often only permitted in the evening or at the weekend.

If these conditions are known, state them in your request — they affect how long the work takes, and we work to them.

Who usually needs this

🏢Offices

Clearing premises or replacing desks and chairs. The volume is usually uniform — ten identical chairs, six workstations, a run of shelving — so it can be counted precisely. See office furniture removal.

🕐Shops and retail units

Between two tenants the remains of the previous fit-out are left behind: shelving, counters, fitting rooms, fixed structures. Often this has to be done between leases, in a short window.

🏢Building managers

Other people's belongings left in communal areas, basements and stairwells, and whatever is left behind in vacated flats. This is usually not a one-off need but a recurring one, so a set procedure and a price known in advance are useful.

🏠Landlords between tenants

The flat has to be made ready for the next tenant, and whatever the last one left has to go. See apartment clearance.

What to include in a business request

Approximate item counts by type (chairs, desks, wardrobes, shelving), the address, the floor and whether there is a lift, access conditions and the time window, and the deadline by which the premises have to be empty. Put the company details for the invoice in the notes field.

For indicative sums see the price list. Prices start at €30 per item, excluding VAT. We don't take construction waste, hazardous waste or tyres, and we don't move furniture to a new address.
